Ditch Rider

The BRID is looking for a ditch rider in the Vauxhall area. Ditch riders are responsible for operating the water distribution system and maintaining water use records. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor.

This position will be year-round employment, which involves working in our maintenance department during the non-irrigation season.

The successful applicant will:

• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Reside in the Vauxhall area during irrigation season
• Have strong record-keeping skills
• Be well-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
• Be mechanically inclined
• Have strong computer literacy
