NOTICE OF PLEBISCITE
BOW RIVER IRRIGATION DISTRICT
PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
TAKE NOTICE that a plebiscite will be held for the purpose of seeking approval of the irrigators to apply to transfer up to 825 acre feet of the water allocated in the irrigation district’s water license to the Town of Cochrane.
Additional information regarding the proposed transfer is available to the public at the offices of the district or on the district website.
The plebiscite will take place on the 20th day of December, 2023 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
The voting station will be located at the Bow River Irrigation District office at 704 7th Avenue N in Vauxhall, Alberta.
